About nMotion

We make biomechanics
accessible

Motion capture should not be complex or out of reach. At nMotion we work so any professional can use it in day-to-day practice.

"Biomechanical assessment should not require an engineering PhD to be useful in the clinic."

nMotion was born from a real frustration. Existing movement analysis systems were too complex, too expensive, or too hard to fit into clinical routines.

We saw that physiotherapists and strength coaches needed objective data, but lacked tools that matched their real workflow. So we set out to build one.

Today, nMotion lets any professional capture high-precision biomechanical data from the browser, without technical training, in under five minutes.

01
Accessibility first
The most sophisticated technology is useless if you cannot use it on day one. We design for the real user, not the ideal case.
02
Precision without compromise
Accessible does not mean imprecise. 200 Hz, under 5 ms latency, and algorithms validated in real clinical environments.
03
Built with professionals
Every nMotion feature has been designed with and for practising physiotherapists, coaches, and researchers.

Built from real experience

Our team includes practising physiotherapists, biomechanics researchers, and high-performance coaches. We do not design for an imaginary user.

Founding team

nMotion comes from collaboration between engineering and product, with a clear focus on making motion capture accessible.

CEO & Co-founder
PhD in engineering with experience in sports biomechanics, motion capture systems, and communication networks. He has led nMotion’s development from the technical foundations through to real-world deployment.
CMO & Co-founder
PhD in engineering and lead for nMotion’s software development. She designs the platform and user experience to make movement analysis accessible to non-technical professionals.

We collaborate with specialists in areas such as artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and data analysis.

How we got
here

2024
The beginning
nMotion started with a clear idea: make motion capture accessible outside highly technical environments. We began by building the first IMU sensor system and exploring how to bring that data into a simple interface.
2025
System development
After many iterations we stabilised the hardware and communication between sensors and platform. We redesigned the electronics, housings, and mounting to deliver a robust device ready for real use.
2025 (H2)
Web platform
We began building the web application, focused on turning complex data into a clear, usable experience. The goal: any professional can use the system without a technical background.
2026
Validation and certification — now
We are completing certification and validating the system with professionals. Our focus is ensuring nMotion is a reliable, useful tool before wider rollout.
